So I'm WAY behind on blog posts after the summer but I'll use the fall & winter to catch up now.
Joselyn & Audel are such a sweet couple and I had an amazing time at their wedding at the end of May! I really enjoyed watching these two say their vows and sharing their love for each other in front of family and a few close friends. These two had a perfect day- great weather, family, friends and some super fun decor in their reception hall. It was wonderful to see everyone out dancing at the beginning of the dance and enjoying themselves. I wish these two all the best in their life together!

This cute couple’s engagement session was all the way back in April, but I figured I would save the blog until closer to their wedding. They are getting married in just a few short weeks! I cannot wait to see what Noelle has in store for their big day; she is also an aspiring photographer and has many great ideas when it comes to the pictures she wants. Dustin works in farming so we couldn’t have an engagement session without some tractors being involved! I was thrilled to capture their love under the bridge and at the abandoned farm place they brought me to. I hope you enjoy their spring-time engagement session as much as I did!

I couldn't have been more thrilled when Leslie asked me to take her and Nathan's engagement pictures- especially after she mentioned an old farm place and barns! I loved this rustic setting on a family farm not to far from Nathan's parent's house. Nathan and Leslie were so easy to work with and even brought hay bails for props! To top it all off, the sunset that night was gorgeous! These two love birds will be getting married in just a few short months. I wish them happiness in their life together and I know I'll be seeing them again soon.

I was so excited when Jessica asked me to take her baby girl's 9 month pictures, especially since I had yet to meet Adriana! My husband has known Adriana's daddy, Matt, his entire life. Matt's brother Nick, who is Isabella's daddy (on the previous blog), is my husband's best friend. Baby Adriana and baby Isabella are so lucky to have a cousin so close in age! I'm sure these two little ladies will be very close growing up.
For our session Jessica brought some amazing vintage pearls, that were her grandmother's, to go with the adorable headbands and lacy outfits Adriana is wearing. Here's a peek at our afternoon :)

This sweet little lady is my good friend Michelle's little princess. Michelle and Nick (who happens to be my husband's best friend) are giving me the pleasure of photographing their baby's first year. My husband and I were fortunate enough to have Nick and Michelle travel with us this past summer to Costa Rica, where we got married. Michelle was a trooper; she was about 5 months pregnant with Miss Izzy at the time and wasn't able to do a lot of the exciting adventures with us. Needless to say, this couple and their first child hold a very special place in my heart. I can't wait to share her future sessions with you all!
This absolutely adorable bunny hat was made just for Isabella by her aunt Tiffany Lawyer!! Isn't she the cutest little bunny?
Mom is having so much fun dressing up her little princess with headbands, flowers, and tutus!
Doesn't she look like such a sweet little angel? Michelle brought the boa to create "wings" on Izzy's back- what a great idea!

My FIRST blog post! Since Joselyn and Audel are the very first couple to do both engagement and wedding photos with me, I thought there was no better time to start sharing beautiful love stories via blog. Before going to this shoot I had never met these two and I couldn't have been happier to show up to their smiling faces! This is a session I will never forgot and I'm sure Joselyn and Audel won't forget either…. As soon as they got out of their car they realized that the keys were locked inside! They never got mad at one another. They just laughed it off as we solved the problem. We began taking photos as we waited for the car to get unlocked. And if that wasn't enough to put a damper on things, the FRIGID day could have been. To be outside in a dress trudging around, sitting, and laying down in the snow would have been enough to put some people in a bad mood (me included). But not Joselyn and Audel! These two were troopers through it all and still managed to show the love they have for one another. Even though we were all FREEZING and I could hardly move my fingers by the end of this shoot, I can honestly say this may have been one of my favorite sessions. Needless to say, I cannot wait to capture their special day in May!
